Antonio Sola Corpas

Antonio Sola Corpas is a musician passionate about the saxophone and its versatility, expressing himself through a wide variety of musical styles. His passion for the instrument is reflected in his teaching, offering each student a close, dynamic, and enriching learning experience.

His dedication to music is built on a solid academic background acquired from renowned institutions, earning his higher music studies at the Conservatory of Music of Castilla y León (Salamanca, Spain), where he obtained the Highest Honors with Distinction and the End of Studies Award. He continued his studies with a Master’s Degree in Musical Performance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (Netherlands) and completed his academic journey at the Haute école de musique de Genève (Switzerland), obtaining both a Master’s in Soloist Musical Performance and a Master’s in Music Pedagogy.

Thanks to his passion, dedication, and talent, Antonio Sola Corpas has won 19 international awards in international music competitions. Among the most notable are the 1st Prize at the XVII International Music Competition Città di Padova (Italy), 2nd Prize at the International Saxophone Competition of Iasi (Romania), 2nd Prize at the International Music Competition of Malta, 2nd Prize at the International Classical Music Competition of Vienna (Austria), and the 1st Prize and Audience Award at the II International Saxophone Competition «Exigentia» (Italy).

His career has led him to perform recitals across Europe, as a soloist, in chamber music groups, or collaborating with prestigious orchestras such as the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Madrid Symphony Orchestra, and the Verbier Festival Orchestra. He has performed in iconic concert halls such as the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Konzerthaus in Vienna, and the Konzerthaus in Berlin, and participated in renowned international festivals like the Montreux Jazz Festival, Arena di Verona Festival, Grachtenfestival, International Amsterdam Saxophone Festival, and the Verbier International Music Festival. He has also recorded for media outlets such as RTS (Swiss Radio and Television), RNE (Spanish National Radio), and NPO (Dutch Radio and Television).

Passionate about pedagogy and with over 10 years of experience in music education, Antonio has taught in various institutions across Europe, offering personalized instruction tailored to each student’s needs and interests. His goal is to create a close and motivating environment where learning the saxophone becomes an enriching experience, enjoying the process while developing creativity, a love for music, and personal growth. With a flexible methodology that provides comprehensive guidance combining technique, musical expression, and artistic development, Antonio guides his students to achieve their goals, whether amateur or professional.
