Lessons are available from 6 years old, with no age limit. We also offer courses for adults and retirees.
Do I need to have my own saxophone?
Yes, having your own saxophone is recommended for home practice. If you don’t have one, we can advise you on purchasing or renting one.
What musical styles can I learn?
You can explore a wide range of musical styles, including classical music, jazz, funk, pop, electronic music, reggae, rock, blues, soul, bossa nova, tango, and folk music.
Do you offer both individual and group lessons?
Yes, you can choose between individual, group, or family lessons, depending on your preferences and goals.
How do payments and enrollment work?
Enrollment is open all year round, and pricing varies based on the selected course format. Lessons can be paid monthly or annually. See the Fees section for more details.
Are there concerts or auditions throughout the year?
Yes, we organize two auditions per year in a concert hall, where students perform accompanied by piano and participate in the Saxophone Ensemble. These events are open to the public and provide a great opportunity to share music.
Do you offer home lessons?
Yes, individual, group, and family lessons are available at home, with sessions of 45, 60, or 75 minutes.
Do you organize additional activities?
Yes, besides regular lessons, Léman Saxophone Academy offers various activities such as the Saxophone Ensemble, masterclasses with guest musicians, and specialized workshops.
Does Léman Saxophone Academy follow the school calendar?
Yes, we follow the 2025/2026 school calendar, so there will be no classes during the official holidays of the canton of Geneva.
